Marta Barandiy is a chairwoman of the organization Promote Ukraine. She holds post-master and doctoral degree in international and European law from the University Saarbruecken. The topic of her dissertation was “Sovereignty as a Remedy to Secure States’ Interests”. Since 2014 Marta has initiated, organized and participated in numerous peace-building projects, conferences, round tables, and charity events. Marta is passionate about the cause of inspiring people to good deed and enthusiastic when there is a possibility for her to be an added value to change in the system and in the attitude of people. Viktoria is an experienced journalist having been working for leading Ukrainian mass media for the past 10 years. She worked as parliamentary and international correspondent for national weekly newpaper “Stolichnie Novosty” (Capital News), international redactor for “First Business Channel”, redactor and international correspondent for the biggest national newspaper “Segodnya”. Since 2 years she lives in Belgium, where reports as a freelancer for “Segodnya” and other media. She is responsible for communications in Promote Ukraine since one year and took an active part in most of the projects.
