Marta Barandiy is a chairwoman of the organization Promote Ukraine. She holds post-master and doctoral degree in international and European law from the University Saarbruecken. The topic of her dissertation was “Sovereignty as a Remedy to Secure States’ Interests”. Since 2014 Marta has initiated, organized and participated in numerous peace-building projects, conferences, round tables, and charity events. Marta is passionate about the cause of inspiring people to good deed and enthusiastic when there is a possibility for her to be an added value to change in the system and in the attitude of people. Viktoria is an experienced journalist having been working for leading Ukrainian mass media for the past 10 years. She worked as parliamentary and international correspondent for national weekly newpaper “Stolichnie Novosty” (Capital News), international redactor for “First Business Channel”, redactor and international correspondent for the biggest national newspaper “Segodnya”. Since 2 years she lives in Belgium, where reports as a freelancer for “Segodnya” and other media. She is responsible for communications in Promote Ukraine since one year and took an active part in most of the projects. Originally from most ethnically-diverse regions of Ukraine – the Danube Delta – Vsevolod has always been interested in the trans-border and inter-cultural interaction. Fluent in four languages of the region, he gained BA in international relations from Odessa University (Ukraine) and MA in Balkan Studies and Conflict Resolution from Athens University (Greece). As a political officer for the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, Vsevolod participated in development work in the region. As a BBC Balkans correspondent, he travelled to deserted Greek islands to study the problems of migration and helped victims of trafficking in human beings to escape from horrors of moder-day slavery. After years of field work in the region, Vsevolod spent several years in Cambridge preparing a book on Russian-European relations and security issues in the Black Sea region (Palgrave, 2017). He teaches EU-Ukraine relations in the College of Europe. One of his most recent articles ‘Relations between Europe, Russia and Ukraine: Triangle Revisited’ has been a top publication of the leading international journal ‘Europe-Asia Studies’.
