The Ukrainian side has not yet received materials and evidence promised by Iran regarding the UIA flight PS752 plane crash investigation. The aircraft was shot down on 8 January 2020 near Tehran. Therefore, Ukraine calls on all its partners to support it in seeking justice and an objective investigation of this case.
The minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy emphasised this at the first Safer Skies Forum. The event was initiated by the minister of Transport of Canada Mark Garno within the Canadian government’s international Safer Skies deal.
“We have actively supported and facilitated the Malaysia Airlines flight MH-17 crash technical investigation by the Security Council of the Netherlands. Besides, Ukraine is actively involved in the UIA flight PS752 downing investigation by the Islamic Republic of Iran. We appreciate the support of our partners from Canada, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and other countries, which have achieved results in the MH-17 crash investigation. At the same time, the Ukrainian investigation has not yet received the materials and evidence promised by Iran regarding the PS752 plane crash. That is why I ask our partners to support Ukraine in its pursuit of justice. We are all interested in an objective investigation of this case,” Krykliy stressed.
