Ukraine has become a player that remains committed to European and Euro-Atlantic integration and ready for global cooperation and strengthening relations with strategic partners.

“The Crimea Platform and the visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States are two signals to the world that Ukraine is back in the game. We are not beggars, we are not victims, we are not the poor relation. Ukraine is not a victim, Ukraine is a rescuer,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said.

As Kuleba noted, Ukraine is creating new alliances and actively forming a new architecture of global and regional security. He singled out such new formats as the Crimea Platform, the Lublin Triangle with Poland and Lithuania, the Associated Trio with Georgia and Moldova, and the Quadriga with Turkey.

“Ukraine is forming a belt of freedom, prosperity, and security around its borders,” the Ukrainian foreign minister said.

Kuleba highlighted the adoption of the Foreign Policy Strategy. For the first time in 30 years since the independence, our country received a systemic foreign policy document: “These are not just slogans declared on paper, but a clear, precise, verified and systematised strategic foreign policy document of the highest level. It helps the state move forward much more effectively and achieve its goals.”

“The real capacity and competence of the state are not only to make its position heard in the international arena. The real capacity and competence are that foreign policy creates new opportunities for Ukraine. Opportunities are not for politicians. Opportunities are for Ukrainians: to feel safe, to be proud of their country, to develop business, to reveal economic and cultural potential,” Kuleba added.
