Javelin complexes go to Donbas

Ukrainian servicemen in the combat zone in Donbas will be armed with American Javelin anti-tank systems soon. The Commander-in-Chief of the General Staff Ruslan Khomchak stated this.

“The Armed Forces brigades will receive Javelins during the rotation to the hostilities area. Now the tactics of ‘Javelins’ usage are actively practised based on a brigade, which finishes training at the landfill before entering Donbas,” said Khomchak.

He also added that skills of the anti-armour missile systems calculation are under development.  Besides, the Bayraktar drones usage with target damage is under testing during this brigade preparation for the rotation.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the General Staff, the Ukrainian army has already prepared enough to work with Javelin.

To recap, the Armed Forces has recently received the latest Javelin missiles for the total amount of $ 27 million.
