The visit aims to demonstrate the solidarity of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg with Ukraine against the background of Russia’s destabilising actions.

The foreign ministers of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg will visit the line of contact in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. They will get acquainted with the security situation in the zone of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict and practical steps taken by Ukraine to facilitate the lives of the local population. In particular, the ministers will review the functioning of the entry-exit checkpoints.

On 7 May, Kuleba will hold talks with colleagues from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg to discuss consolidation of international support for Ukraine to deter Russia from further aggression, as well as to strengthen regional security, support Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and promote internal transformations in our country.
