As the festive holiday season approaches, Promote Ukraine is thrilled to announce a heartfelt campaign aimed at collecting Christmas toys and bringing joy to temporarily displaced children who have sought refuge in Belgium.

According to official statistics, there are currently 24,224 children between the ages of 0 and 17 in Belgium, with 1,349 being unaccompanied minors.

We had the privilege of getting to know some of these young souls through our ‘Prostir’ initiatives. These children are incredible and kind. Today, they have to celebrate the bright Christmas holiday far away from their Homeland. To provide a present is the smallest thing we can do for them.

To support this heartwarming initiative, we invite individuals who wish to make a positive impact to contribute by bringing new and unwrapped toys in festive packages such as Lego, board games, dolls, development toys for toddlers, etc., or new school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils (including for colouring), etc. to the address of Prostir Cultural Centre located at Emile Jacqmainlaan 81, Brussels, 1000 on Wednesday, 13 December, from 15:00 to 18:00 or Friday, 15 December, from 12:00 to 15:00.

If you are unable to bring the gifts but still willing to contribute, feel free to transfer the desired amount to the bank account of Promote Ukraine with the reference “Christmas gifts to Ukrainian children 2023” – BE61 7370 6304 7417.

Your generosity will go a long way in restoring the magic of childhood for these incredible youngsters.

There are 2 days left!

Please note that we only collect new and unwrapped toys. For security reasons, we are not able to ensure the collection and distribution of used toys.
