Having gained 35.38% of votes, the Law and Justice ruling party won the parliamentary elections in Poland as all the ballots were counted. It is followed by the Civic Coalition opposition bloc (30.70%), the Third Way (14.40%), the Left (8.61%) and the Confederation ultra-right, anti-Ukrainian party (7.16%).
“Promote Ukraine welcomes the completion of parliamentary elections in Poland. After all, elections are the basis of the legitimacy of democracy; they act as a mechanism for the peaceful transfer of political power. It is important that Poland chose the path of democracy, unlike other pro-Russian countries of the world where the free expression of the will of the people is impossible,” said founder of Promote Ukraine Marta Barandiy.
