Russian Occupiers Violate Ceasefire 11 Times

During the past 24 hours, on 17 August, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation area 11 times.

The enemy fired 120mm mortars towards the village of Vodiane near Donetsk.

In the area of the village of Pisky, the invaders fired three times. 120mm mortars, automatic easel and under-barrel grenade launchers, as well as heavy machine guns and small arms were used.

Not far from Novoluhanske, the occupiers used easel antitank and automatic grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions.

In the area of Zolote-4, Russian mercenaries opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, easel antitank and hand-held antitank grenade launchers, as well as heavy machine guns.

In addition, an enemy Orlan-10-class UAV was spotted flying over the line of contact in the Luhansk region.

One member of the Joint Forces was wounded in the enemy shelling. The soldier is in a medical institution. His health condition is satisfactory.

Ukrainian defenders opened fire in response to the enemy shelling.
