As of 10 March 2022, 71 children were killed and more than 100 children were injured since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova reported.

In Malyn, Zhytomyr region, seven private houses were destroyed by an airstrike, killing five people, including three children (a five-year-old girl and two children born in 2021).

A 16-year-old boy died in shelling of a market near the village of Zhukovskoho in the Kharkiv region.

At night, as a result of yet another artillery shelling near the village of Slobozhanske, Izium district, Kharkiv region, the enemy shell hit a private house. Four people – two women and two children – died under the rubble. A 5-year-old girl survived.

In the town of Irpin in the Kyiv region, a 10-year-old girl was severely wounded and is now in critical condition at a hospital.

Unfortunately, the number of killed and wounded Ukrainian children is growing every day. In these difficult times, Promote Ukraine offers the opportunity to make charitable contributions for the purchase of ammunition for the Ukrainian army.
