The Armed Forces of Ukraine are encircling Lyman in Donbas. Fierce fighting is ongoing.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Ukraine took control of several villages in the northwest and north of the town and is prohibiting the enemy’s last logistic route.

Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage groups have already been spotted in the towns of Torske and Yampil, southeast of Lyman.
