The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution allowing Ukraine’s security and defence forces to purchase the necessary goods and services through specialised international organisations, in particular, through NATO and United States agencies.

Defence Minister of Ukraine Andriy Taran noted that the document would create conditions for optimisation of defence spending.

“In addition, it will help establish cooperation and strengthen compatibility with NATO, as well as Ukraine’s implementation of concluded intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements,” the official said.

The list of these international organisations includes the NATO Communications and Information Agency, the NATO Support and Procurement Agency, and the U.S. Government’s Foreign Military Sales Program.
