According to the police data, about 2,500 people participated in a solidarity march with Ukraine in Brussels on Sunday. It was organised on the initiative of the NGO Promote Ukraine. The march ended on Luxembourg Square opposite the European Parliament.
The march started on Boulevard Roi Albert II, near Place Rogier. Many demonstrators had the EU flag along with the colours of Ukraine.
The rally ended around 18:00 with a music performance. Kateryna Pavlenko, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2020, attended the event. Fundraising for the purchase of medical equipment was also organised.
