In 2005 when the first Eurovision Song Contest was held in Ukraine, Europeans were granted a visa-free regime to Ukraine. Finally, 12 years after that Ukrainians received long awaited right to travel in Europe without visas! This decision makes us even closer to Europe than we are! More and more people in Europe will have a chance to meet Ukrainians on the streets of their cities and villages, and understand that we have much more in common than they realize. But what do they know about us now? Promote Ukraine asked this to people from different countries travelling to Brussels.
This is just a start of a project #ІміджУкраїни (#ImageOfUkraine)
We plan a number of activities which will help us to understand how Ukrainians are perceived in Europe, which factors play against us and what are the best ways to address them.
