The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe recorded mass ceasefire violations, including shelling and 41 explosions, over the weekend of 4-6 June.

In particular, the OSCE SMM spotted 148 ceasefire violations, including 72 violations in the Donetsk region. The situation in the northwest of Donetsk was also tense.

In addition, OSCE monitors recorded 76 ceasefire violations in the Luhansk region, including 17 explosions of unknown origin. At the same time, most violations occurred in the area of Dachne (occupied territory). There, monitors heard 54 shots from small arms and five rounds from heavy machine guns. Eleven more explosions took place on the outskirts of Holubivka.

As reported, Russia is building up its military force near the borders of NATO and Ukraine. In particular, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the creation of 20 new formations and units in the Western Military District. According to Shoigu, 2,000 units of new military equipment are to be delivered in the district.
