During the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Russia committed horrific crimes against humanity, kidnapping and relocating Ukrainian children to its territory, violating all international norms and rights. These actions resulted in the separation of children from their families and culture.

Estimates of the number of Ukrainian children deported to Russia range from 19,592 to 307,000 without any indication of when they will be able to come back.

The United Nations rightfully condemned these actions, recognising them as war crimes. Our mission now is to draw the attention of the international community to these atrocities and demand accountability for the perpetrators.

Russia must be held accountable for every abducted child, for every shattered soul…
