Criminal Militarisation: Russia to Arm “Artek” Children’s Camp

In Crimea, the occupiers buy air pistols, submachine guns, sniper rifles and ordinary rifles for the “Artek” children’s health camp. Children are optionally involved in the “Youtharmy,” where they are taught to handle weapons. The procurement site “Synapse” stated this.

Weapons are bought by the Federal State Budget Educational Institution “ICC Artek.” In particular, the purchase included: a rifle, an air pistol, a first aid kit, a control station, a vest with damage sensors, a control point, a belt for AK assault rifle, a battery charger, shooting glasses, an external antenna, an inert rifle, a relay station, a tactical helmet, 40 sniper rifles, a wireless bandage, an air rifle.

To recap, Promote Ukraine wrote that children and teenagers take part now in compulsory military parades in the territories of Donbas occupied by the Russian Federation. Young residents of the so-called “LPR” are actively taught not only the methods of a “hot war,” but also a hybrid and an information one.
