Due to the Russian full-scale invasion, many Ukrainians were forced to seek refuge abroad. In particular, more than 70,000 of our displaced persons now live in Belgium. Temporary protection gives the right to residence, education, employment and healthcare. Social insurance is mandatory in Belgium. Karpachova is a person who built up the systematic work of Promote Ukraine with Ukrainian refugees and, together with the team, organised the Prostir cultural centre so that Ukrainians in Brussels had access to quality and familiar leisure.
