The list of people and organisations that support the demonstration against the Russian invasion in solidarity with Ukraine, which will take place in Brussels on 25 February, is constantly growing.

Today, the Nobel Peace Prize winner Oleksandra Matviychuk supported the rally.

“I believe that if the country cannot rely on legal settlement, then it can rely on the support of people. I am sincerely grateful for the solidarity with the people of Ukraine at this difficult time. We will fight for freedom because it will make the world safer,” Matviychuk said.

The demonstration in Brussels is organised by NGOs and people who actively help Ukraine, as well as the Association of Ukrainians in Belgium. It is supported by citizens who are actively engaged in culture, feminism, trade unions, LGBT rights, and other issues. In total, more than 150 citizens and organisations signed the appeal.

The event will be held as part of the World Week of Action against the War of Aggression.
