Happy Birthday to Two Exceptional Individuals Working to Bring Ukraine’s Victory Closer

We would like to congratulate Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, on his birthday. On this day, we celebrate not just the birth of a man, but the rise of a leader who has become a cornerstone of Ukraine’s defense. From his early days as an operative in the Defence Intelligence Unit, through the critical operations in Crimea and Donbas, to his pivotal role as the Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, General Budanov has stood as a bulwark of strength and strategic brilliance. We wish that every day of yours is filled with new achievements and victories for Ukraine.

Last, but not least, Liza Bezvershenko, our volunteer and co-lead of the PU Advocacy team, celebrates her birthday. Liza is an incredibly talented volunteer who works to ensure that the issue of Ukraine does not disappear from the agenda of European institutions and remains a priority for our partners. We as a whole team thank Liza for her work.
