Tough but Efficient Day for Volunteers at Station Europe

Our volunteers had a very tough but efficient day today: our Ukrainian Hub at Station Europe has been opened to the public. Members of the European Parliament from Poland, Lithuania, Germany, and Belgium gathered for a press conference where they reiterated their support for Ukraine; thanks to the Mission of Ukraine to the EU and the Mission of Poland to the EU. We served varenyky/pierogi and collected funds for Ukrainians in need; and most importantly, for the very first time since the full scale war started, we let the voices of witnesses of Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine be heard. At the same time, our activists asked NATO a sharp but touchy question: “Does humanity end at NATO borders?”
