According to Yaroslav Yanushevich, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, 46 pupils from the Kherson Regional Children’s Home were taken by the occupiers to Simferopol under the guise of “evacuation” by ambulances.

These are children under 5 years of age. Among them, 18 are deprived of parental care, nine are temporarily settled, and 19 are without legal status (selected from the family). The employees of the institution were informed that the children should be returned in two weeks.

A few days before the abduction of the children, they were involved in filming propaganda videos about the distribution of humanitarian aid and the celebration of Autumn Day in the presence of representatives of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation.

Such actions of the aggressor state constitute genocide in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
