The war provoked by Russia is not going on in eastern Ukraine, in fact, the war is going on in Eastern Europe. This was emphasized by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories, Member of the National Security and Defense Council, First Deputy Chairman of the Delegation to the Tripartite Contact Group Oleksiy Reznikov.

“When deciding to maintain sanctions or increase pressure sanctions, every European country must understand that the war is not in eastern Ukraine, the war is in eastern Europe, and today aggression is directed not only against Ukraine but against the whole of Europe,” he said.

Reznikov also said that today the Ukrainian side still remains a supporter of “trying everything possible to end this war, using Minsk as a platform”.
