DEAccording to General Staff data, the enemy launched 19 missile strikes (our defenders successfully destroyed 15 enemy Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles), 17 airstrikes, and 25 MLRS attacks over the past day. Unfortunately, civilians, including children, were killed and injured. Apartment blocks, private residential buildings, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and other civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged.
“The occupiers continue to focus their main efforts on offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions – 41 enemy attacks were repelled. Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities; our soldiers hold the defense,” the military said.
According to their information, over the past day in the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the occupiers launched an airstrike with guided aerial bombs on the settlement of Lyzunivka in the Chernihiv region, killing a child. The settlements of Leonivka, Krasnyi Khutir, Karpovychi, Hremyach, and Novhorod-Siversky in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Shostka, Khodyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Sadky in the Sumy region; and Udy, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Khatnie in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to improve its tactical position and carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Novoselivske and Bilohorivka. The invaders launched airstrikes on Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Spirne. Makiivka, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamyanske and Spirne in the Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations in Sieverne and Pervomayske, but had no success. An airstrike on Avdiivka was launched. Lastochkyne, Sieverne, Pervomayske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region were struck.
In the Maryinka direction, the Russians continue to attack the positions of the defense forces. Battles for Maryinka continue. Heorhiyivka in the Donetsk region also came under enemy fire.
“The occupiers defend themselves in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Settlements are shelled. In particular, Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaypole, Charivne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky, Zeleny Hai in the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Ivanivske, Kozatske, Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Vesele, Odradokamyanka, Tiahynka, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Kherson in the Kherson region were struck,” the General Staff informed.
The Russian occupiers strengthened the counter-intelligence and police regime in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, in the settlements of Dorozhnianka, Reshetylivka, Kostiantynivka, and Chumatske, the invaders prohibited the entry of civilians without local registration.
In Hornostayivka in the Kherson region, there are significant problems with the mobile connection of Russian operators, in contrast to the stable connection of national operators of Ukraine. The local command of the Russian occupying forces explains this with the defeat inflicted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In general, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Russian anti-aircraft missile systems and launched seven strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel over the past day. An enemy Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV was also shot down.
Over the past day, missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, six areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, two ammunition depots, and one fuel depot.
