SBU Liquidates Large Network of Russian Internet Agents Since Beginning of War

In total, the Security Service of Ukraine has detained 20 people in different regions. Seven of them have already confirmed their connection with the special services of the Russian Federation, some of them already have been sentenced.

In particular, in Khmelnytskyi, an agent was sentenced to four years in prison as he urged seizing the state power in Ukraine and called on the Ukrainian military to join the so-called “LPR/DPR”.

In the Kyiv region, two residents were detained for supporting Russia’s recognition of “independence” of the so-called “LPR/DPR.” Another “blogger” called for support for the Russian occupiers.

A wrongdoer, who popularised on social networks Russcist pilots bombing Ukrainian cities, was exposed in Cherkasy.

A local resident was detained in Odesa for distributing “letters” about change in the state border and promoting an aggressive war against Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine continues to take comprehensive measures to identify and prosecute all perpetrators.
