Counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have exposed a member of the tank battalion of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) terrorist organisation in the Joint Forces Operation area. He planned to secretly visit relatives in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
According to the report, a resident of Lyman served in a tank battalion in the occupied village of Michuryne.
The SBU officers established the identity of the militant while he was trying to enter Ukraine from the territory of the Russian Federation. Now, he is cooperating with the investigation.
