Six Ukrainian universities entered the best universities ranking in the world

Six Ukrainian universities entered the Top 1000 of the best universities in the world according to the data of the authoritative rating QS World University Rankings 2021.

The highest rank was obtained by “Kharkiv National University after V.N. Karazin” which was placed by the experts on the 477th position (14 positions higher compared to the previous rating).

“Kyiv National University after Taras Shevchenko”  became the second Ukrainian University in the rating with the position in the range 601-650 (after the 200th place, universities are represented by the groups of 50 institutions because of a small difference in scores). Unfortunately, this University decreased its position in the rating by 60 points from the previous year.

“Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” remained at the same level and occupies 651-700 place.

The positions of two other universities – “KPI after Sikorsky” and “Sumy State University” also remained the same – in 701-750 range.

Though Lviv Polytechnic has worsened its position in the rating. Last year, the experts evaluated it in the range of 751-800, while this year in the range of 800-1000 places.
