What a beautiful event we organised last week together with Nakhati Café culturel on the occasion of the 31st Independence Day of Ukraine!

There was a concert of talented Ukrainian singers and musicians playing some of our favourite Ukrainian tunes, master classes of Ukrainian crafts (motanka, pysankarstvo), painting of Rushnyk, and an art exhibition of Ukrainian artists coordinated by volunteers of Promote Ukraine.

Delicious Ukrainian treats prepared and served by Nakhati helped us to remember the taste of Ukraine.

And of course, what party would be complete without some dancing beats?! DJ Katarina Dariy from Ukraine united everyone on a dance floor to celebrate the last moments of the festive day.

We would like to thank all volunteers performing, teaching, or contributing to the organisation of this event for your hard work and dedication!
A special thank you goes to our host, GC Elzenhof Elsene, for providing this beautiful venue. And of course, we would like to thank each and every one of you who supported (and continues to support) Promote Ukraine and our cause!

We collected 1625 EUR thanks to your kind donations!!
All the proceeds from this event will go to support Ukrainian refugees in Belgium as well as other initiatives of Promote Ukraine
