NBU Recorded Foreign Capital Outflow from Ukraine

Foreign investors withdrew 343 million US dollars from our country in nine months of 2020. The National Bank of Ukraine published this data.

The outflow of foreign capital in the first quarter of 2020 reached USD 1.549 million. In the second quarter, foreign investment of USD 1.255 million came to the country.

However, in the third quarter, an outflow of investment of 49 million dollars was recorded.

To recap, the COVID-19 pandemic did not reduce the interest of foreign investors in Ukrainian agriculture. Thus, over 8.8% of foreign capital was invested in the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the first half of 2020.
