In the video press conference to the results of the online meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU member states the High Representative Josep Borrell stated that the EU maintains its support to countries of Eastern Partnership including Ukraine.

“We expressed clear support to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He has been making bold steps on reforms and conflict resolution. There has been significant progress on reforms, but there are still many obstacles and these efforts have to continue. There was again strong support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, including the non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea; support for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the work of the Normandy format, and of the OSCE”.

Borrell also confirmed that the Eastern Partnership Summit will take place in June, though earlier there was information that it may be postponed to autumn 2020.

He promised that there is a commitment from all sides to continue the fight with disinformation in the EU.
